Net Zero Carbon Project with FCBStudios.

In June 2021, we partnered with FCBStudios to launch a project aimed at raising awareness of Net Zero Carbon among young people across London. We brought together five young Londoners, all under 25, from our network—none of whom had met before—and commissioned them to produce multimedia content targeted at a youth audience

Our goal was to explore climate change through a knowledge exchange, focusing on understanding how to achieve Net Zero. With young people leading the charge on climate action, from school strikes to global icons like Greta Thunberg, this project highlighted the pivotal role youth play in addressing the climate emergency.

Net zero Podcast

Throughout June, the team of young producers worked collaboratively to create a podcast series that delved into what Net Zero Carbon means, addressing pressing questions like "Who do young people feel is to blame?" and "What role can they play in righting the wrongs?"

This Net Zero Podcast captured insightful discussions about the challenges and opportunities for young people in the fight against climate change.

Watch a Recording Of The Event

The project culminated in a live event on 29th June 2021, where the content producers shared their experiences, what they learned, and how we can better engage younger audiences on climate issues.

  READ THE ZINE

One of the producers, Shirin, created a Zine titled "What the Hell is Net Zero?", aimed at young adults. This zine detailed the team’s journey and discoveries during the project. Watch a recording of the event above and read the zine to learn more about the project and how young voices are driving the conversation around Net Zero.
