Join the Barbican Renewal Co-Design Program
Are you 18+ and interested in working with the Barbican Centre?
We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity to collaborate with the Barbican Centre, Beyond the Box, Allies and Morrison, and Asif Khan Studio as part of the ongoing Barbican Renewal programme.
The Barbican Renewal is a major initiative aimed at restoring, revitalising, and preserving the iconic Barbican Centre for future generations. The project will address various spaces within the Barbican through a series of capital works, ensuring sensitive and sustainable transformations for one of the UK’s most significant post-war buildings.
As part of this exciting collaboration, Beyond the Box will lead a co-design process involving external participants (that’s where you come in!). This process will directly inform the architects’ work on key projects, including the Conservatory, Foyers, and Lakeside areas of the Barbican.
We are looking for 24 participants in total, with a commitment of 4 hours each month to attend a 4-hour workshop, starting in October and finishing in April (7-month period). We are inviting anyone interested in participating to complete the expression of interest form below.
